Overview

This training offers community health workers (CHWs) a basic understanding of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias or ADRD. 

Intended Audience

Community Health Workers or those fulfilling a community health worker role.

Pre-requisites/Learning Level

Ability to read and understand spoken English.

  • Describe the basics of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD)
  • Identify early signs of cognitive decline
  • Recognize ways to connect caregivers and families to resources across Iowa
